A day in the life

Stepping Stones ChildcareWe offer our children a very full day of fun, laughter, play and rest. The day is broken up into many activities both indoors and outdoors to keep the children interested, stimulated and active.

To reflect my Australian background the children are divided by age into three groups known as the Joeys, Possums and Roos. Each group has their own key workers which help the children to settle and form a close bond with their carer.

Although we work to a daily timetable, this is at times flexible to suit the mood or choice of the children. The staff may have decided to do a painting activity, but it is such a nice sunny day the children want to play outside, so staff and children go outside! The painting activity can be done later or on another day.
